Struggling? There is Another Choice

What is the opposite of struggle?

And why this is an important question?

Many of you engage with the energy of struggle to overcome an uncomfortable situation or to get what you want. It’s an automatic response and it’s familiar. You probably don’t like the way it feels but you still engage with it as you go about your day. Life is a struggle is a commonly held belief that works at cross purposes with what are inspired to create and become.

Please, take a moment to consider the first question again. This little exercise will only take a minute or two and you might enjoy the uplifting benefits.

Take a few deep inhales and exhales and close your eyes and ask yourself, “What is the opposite of struggle?” Let your breath be your guide to the answer. Feel what that is for you. What does the sensation of “not struggling” feel like? Your body is very happy to have you inquire, so it will comply by giving you the answer you seek.

These might be some of your feeling responses: centered, peaceful, trusting, allowing, letting go, or just an overall sense of ease.

What ever that answer is, give it your full attention and throughout your day, tap back into the feeling state.  Because that quality is what is trying to emerge from within you. Choosing this more expansive quality of feeling more often, helps to correct the erroneous belief you may have that you have no choice but to struggle to get what you desire.

Is that really true?
